School Rules
The school rules are designed to maintain discipline, safety, cleanliness, and a positive learning environment for every student.
General School Rules
- Every student must carry their almanac and identity card to school daily.
- Students commuting independently must ensure they arrive at school on time.
- Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited. Any such item found will be confiscated and not returned.
- Movement between classrooms during periods must be orderly and silent. Students should not leave classrooms unnecessarily.
- Students must maintain cleanliness and proper grooming at all times.
- School uniform is compulsory on all working days and school functions.
- Improper dress may result in being sent home with parents.
- Hair gel, low-waist trousers, and inappropriate attire are not allowed.
- Students who are picked up must wait for their escort. In case of delay, they should report to the school reception.
- Use of the school telephone is not permitted without permission, and students will not be called during class hours.
- Students using school transport must maintain discipline on the bus.
- Students must follow all instructions issued by school authorities.
Environmental Responsibility
Students must follow environmental responsibility (“green rules”):
- Do not litter the school premises.
- Avoid use of disposable plastics and paper waste.
- Students must not damage plants or pluck flowers.
Respect for School Property
School property must be respected:
- No writing or drawing on walls or furniture.
- Any damage (intentional or accidental) must be reported immediately.
Discipline & Conduct
- Students must be polite and respectful at all times.
- Greet teachers appropriately.
- Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
- Bringing sharp or harmful objects is strictly prohibited.
- The school is not responsible for lost items. Students should avoid bringing valuable belongings.
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Writing on uniforms
Spitting in or around school premises
Smoking
Gambling
Use of drugs or intoxicants (unless medically prescribed)
Rowdy or rude behaviour
Violence in any form
Bursting crackers or throwing colours within school premises
- Students visiting the medical room must carry a signed permission card from the concerned teacher.
- Students must not encourage others to engage in misconduct or anti-school activities.
- Use of unfair means during examinations will result in strict disciplinary action.
Attendance Rules
- A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for examinations.
- Students failing to meet this requirement may not be promoted or awarded.
- Students must be present on the first day after vacations.
- Students must be present on the last working day before vacations.
- In case of illness, a medical certificate and application must be submitted within 3 days.
- Students returning after an infectious or contagious disease must submit a fitness certificate from a doctor.
- Only students officially representing the school in sports or events will be considered “on duty.” Others cannot claim such attendance benefits.
